l'abeille is a 48 seat French Fine dining Restaurant in the heart of lower Manhattan in Tribeca headed by Chef Mitsunobu Nagae, who has extensive experiences in haute cuisine at multiple Michelin-Starred restaurants  in Tokyo (L'Osier, Chateau Restaurant Joel Robuchon), Paris (Ledoyen), and New York (L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Shun) . His vision for the Restaurant is to provide the kind of food one would be served at great restaurants in France - highest quality food served in a friendly, non-formal environment is the core concept of our dining experience.

We are seeking strong candidates with love and passion for French cuisine to be a member of our team as Pastry Chef de partie

• At least 2+ years experience as a pastry cook in French dining setting.
• A desire to learn and grow in an exciting & quickly changing environment
• Sense of urgency
• Able to prepare ingredients and setup station mise en place for service
• Able to keep your station clean and organized during and after your shift
• A working understanding of sanitation codes and DOH regulations
• Work closely and collaboratively with the savory team
• You will be working directly with the Pastry Chef to produce and execute our dessert menu while maintaining the high quality and standards set forth by the restaurant.
