Nassau Candy Distributors is a leading importer, manufacturer and distributor of specialty confections, fine foods and promotional products.

We are currently hiring a talented and detail-oriented Chocolate Mold & Prototype Designer to support ourever-expanding confectionery production efforts on site in Hicksville .

In this critical role you will use your technical skills to:

• Design and print chocolate molds via Formlabs SLA 3D printers
• Conceptualize and fabricate prototypes and trays for candy and chocolate production
• Create and cut aluminum depositing plates, and chocolate molds via CNC router

Your Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar mold / model making role within the confectionery field or related manufacturing industry.
• Hands on experience using Type3 CAD /CAM software or the equivalent and must be able to operate the CNC Router and 3D printer
• Strong overall systems and computer acumen; Excel, ERP, machining, fabrication and design
• Bilingual English/ Spanish a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
