About the Role
The Company is seeking an Internship Career Coach to join the Center for Student Success. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing career education and advising to support students in exploring and achieving their career goals, with a focus on internship facilitation. This includes helping students identify their interests, skills, and values, and guiding them through the process of preparing for and securing internships. The role also involves developing and maintaining relationships with employers to create internship opportunities, as well as collaborating with faculty and academic departments to ensure the success of the internship program. Applicants for the Internship Career Coach position at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year of experience working with college-age students. A strong understanding of best practices in career services and the NACE career competencies is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in counseling, human relations, psychology, or human resources. Responsibilities also include staying current with labor market trends, conducting workshops and presentations, and evaluating the outcomes of internships. The role demands a professional who is adept at working with data, maintaining records, and is committed to the safety and success of the student community.
