Job Summary: We are seeking an Assembly Technician to install and integrate hardware into vehicles. This role involves assembling components, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with Build Managers, Engineers, and Material Handlers to ensure efficient vehicle production. Essential Functions: Perform manual assembly tasks for vehicle interior and exterior hardware installation. Utilize assembly tools and equipment to install hardware accurately. Operate and test vehicle functionality throughout the assembly process. Pull and install materials from kits onto vehicles. Document completed tasks and communicate issues to plant leadership. Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, and technical data. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work with Engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Support vehicle shipments and material handling activities. Provide guidance to other technicians as needed. Supervisory Responsibility: None Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and previous plant experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical data, including work instructions and blueprints. Experience using manual and electrical tools for vehicle assembly. Willingness to learn vehicle functionality and operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a self-motivated environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and non-conformance software. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Background Prerequisites: Must pass background check, employment verification, reference checks, and controlled substance testing. Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Requires adherence to safety procedures, security protocols, and the use of proper PPE. Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
