Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Research and develop advanced computer vision models (e.g., object detection, segmentation, generative AI, multi-modal understanding) for OPPO’s hardware and software system.
· Optimize models for mobile deployment (e.g., quantization, pruning, NPU acceleration) to achieve efficiency on edge devices.
· Drive GenAI applications (e.g., image/video generation, enhancement, or personalized content) from prototyping to production.
· Collaborate with product teams to integrate CV/ML solutions into OPPO’s camera, and gallery platforms.
· Publish cutting-edge research at top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.) and patent novel technologies.
· Analyze trillion-scale visual data to improve model robustness and user experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
1. PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2. Strong Python/C++ skills and experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow.
3. Hands-on CV/ML project experience (e.g., object detection, generative models, or mobile deployment).
4. Knowledge of model optimization techniques (pruning, distillation, etc.).
Preferred:
1. 3+ years of industry experience deploying models on edge devices.
2. Publications at top conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV) or patents in CV/ML.
3. Expertise in mobile ML stacks (TensorFlow Lite, Qualcomm SNPE, MediaTek APU).
4. Familiarity with Multimodality and Large Multimodal Models (vision-language).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$300,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
